Last week I had the opportunity to attend an amazing workshop with Jim McCormick (Research Institute for Risk Intelligence) talking about how leaders handle risk and how that impacts innovation in our organizations. I boiled it down to this:

Great leaders inspire others to dream, empower them to seek out solutions they are uniquely suited for, and support those solutions above their own.
