#1: Leading Versus Doing

Big growth is massively compounded by great leadership, not great do-ership.  Unfortunately, the stress that accompanies growth often creates chaos and causes most leaders to throw themselves back into the weeds to get things done.  

The real key to thriving in the growth storm is to spend time consistently pouring into, mentoring, and empowering your people.

CEO Satya Nadella of Microsoft once said a leader's job is to bring clarity, generate energy, and deliver success.  

If you find yourself down in the doing today, go find 3 key employees and instead spend time helping them with their projects and bringing those 3 things into their day.  The long term impact will be significantly larger.
