2 Thoughts: Roadblocks & The Road

#1: Roadblocks & The Road

"Failure is not embarrassing. It is not a roadblock. It is the road."  -Colin Rosenblum

I heard this quote on a podcast this week and I had to pull over to write it down.

So much of leadership requires risk.  Risk inherently has failure.  Failure makes you vulnerable.  It also makes you smarter and more resilient.

Consider this - every Olympian you will see next month has lost more times than you've even tried.  You cannot have success without consistent learning through failure.

#2: One Question to Ask Yourself

What failure right now am I considering a roadblock that makes me want to turn around, instead of a segment on my road to success?
