2 Thoughts - Easy & Hard
#1: Easy
I once heard the definition of insanity was doing the same thing but expecting different results. It takes me back to my undergraduate lab days—mixing the same ingredients in those tiny adorable beakers and how predictable the reactions were. It's not magic, it's science!
As we enter a new year, I’m asking myself: What unwanted patterns am I repeating, and how do I interrupt that? I think the key is to make the solution easy. Overcomplicated fixes—or those that stress already maxed-out bandwidth—rarely work.
If the right systems or strategies were in place, we’d already have the results we want.
Sometimes, the simplest answer starts with an outside perspective, making space to stop and THINK, or finding a process that eliminates friction.
The truth is that none of us have time for MORE in our lives. We need less, or we need simpler.
So, if something needs to change, ask yourself: What would it look like if it were easy?
