2 Thoughts - Soulmates & Rockstars

#1: There Are No Soulmates

I recorded a podcast last week and must have hit a nerve, because I've gotten more feedback on it than any other one I've done.  The title (same as above) was intended to provoke so I guess it succeeded.  

The basic premise is that there is no single destined outcome for your life.  In fact, I believe you can make the absolutely wrong decision in the moment and still end up in a great place.  Ask me how I know...

I believe my decision a few years ago to stop rehabbing houses was absolutely the wrong choice.  Every time I think about it, I have some regret, and yet I'm very happy with where I ended up.  And believe me, I've got a few other bad business moments in my past that I'd prefer to forget.  But they all brought me to where I am today.

I'm telling you this now to give you permission to make whatever tough call is keeping you up at night.  There is no right answer.  There is the best one you can make with the knowledge that you have right now.
